Job Description

Do you want to help create the vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your mission is to motivate our youth/clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines on the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our youth/clients, and you are responsible for the foundation of daily life such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building trusting relationships and contribute to ensuring that our youth/clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Our vision is to be a place for change, and this permeates our approach, our commitment, and our attitude.

Working hours are according to a schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.

As a new employee, you will undergo SiS basic training for 10 weeks. The training combines theory with a guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS operations.

The Karlsvik department is a discharge preparation department located in Höör and is a branch of SiS youth home Hässleholm. The department focuses on youth who are in the transition phase and who are not assessed to need care in locked forms.
